Why should YOU care?

This is bad governance by the City Council creating a bad ordinance impacting all of Fort Collins.

The Problem
City Council and City Staff never clearly demonstrated that there is a problem.
The Process
City Council irresponsibly ignored all input from hired consultants, city boards, the city’s own extensive study and a vast majority of concerned residents.

The Consequences
This ordinance will
·      Stop rejuvenation of Old Town neighborhoods
·      Ruin residents’ plans, including those of young families
·      Impact the Desirability and Economic vitality of the entire city
The Alternative
If historical neighborhood preservation is the objective then utilize the Historical Districting procedure setup by the National Park Service for this purpose.
